You pay & fill out our short form
Pay the flat $149 service fee and complete our intake form. It takes about 5 minutes — we ask for your legal name, contact info, address, availability, and a couple of eligibility questions.
We book your training class
New York State requires an 8-hour pre-assignment training course. We find an approved provider near you, on a date that works for your schedule, and book your seat.
We schedule your IdentoGO fingerprints
Fingerprinting is a NYS requirement. IdentoGO is the State-authorized vendor. We schedule your appointment at the location closest to you so you can show up and walk out.
We submit your official application
Once your training is complete and prints are on file, we file your application with the NYS Department of State. You'll be notified when your license is issued.
